Beach Bath Re-redo

Don't forget to stop by and Like my Facebook Page! DIY Vintage Chic.

Last spring I wrapped up my Beach Bath Redo.... or so I thought. Let me start the story by saying I have the best husband in the world. The mirror and shelf I had put up in the bathroom sit right next to the loo. One evening I stood up and completely knocked the shelf {along with everything on it} into, you guessed it, the toilet. Hearing the commotion my hubby came running in to find me staring into the bowl where some of my favorite seashells sat.... at the bottom... in the unflushed toilet. Yuck! Without even thinking he reached right in a grabbed them out. Whew!

So I got to work redoing the shelf. I added some L brackets so now the shelf is actually attached the mirror and has a little more support.
After finding some actual driftwood I let the piece dry, added eye hooks to the top and thread some rope through them.
Hammered a nail in the wall and I was good to go!
Draped a fishnet around the driftwood and called it a day.
Now if I can keep from knocking it down again...
